Faculty Affiliate Program

Engaging New Faculty for Contracts

OGCS engages faculty across the university's five campuses. This outreach program is an effort to engage, energize, and expose, faculty researchers to contracting opportunities within the Office. In the past, OGCS has engaged faculty and students to participate in research, training, summer fellowships, intern and coops from various disciplines throughout the campus. This collaboration also opens the door for faculty who are seeking assistance with program management of current projects practically as it relates to government contracting services.

6 simple steps to become an OGCS Affiliate:

  • Faculty completes OGCS Affiliation form
  • Submit current electronic vitae (area of specialization/expertise)
  • Assist team in response to a request for proposal/ solicitation for the scope of services
  • Faculty serves as Project Manager for area of interest
  • Faculty consultation services with OGCS include costs, availability, period of performance, travel, materials and supplies, equipment, student engagement
  • OGCS manages the entire process from the prime contractor to the university
