SU professor earns NEHA’s premier credentials in environmental health

The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) recently conferred upon Rao Uppu, the James and Ruth Endowed Professor of Environmental Toxicology in the College of Sciences and Engineering at Southern University Baton Rouge (SUBR), its premier dual credential, Registered Environmental Health Specialist/ Registered Sanitarian (REHS/RS).

D.M.R. Spikes Honors College students make presentations at LCHC annual meeting Della Netter-Perkins, a long-time counselor and instructor in the Dolores Margaret Richard Spikes (D.M.R. Spikes) Honors College at Southern University Baton Rouge, was elected president of the Louisiana Collegiate Honors Council (LCHC) during the group’s 2017 annual meeting, March 18, hosted by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
SU students take home five awards at NATS conference

SU to sign MOU transfer agreement with California Community Colleges

SU students participate in 2017 Transportation Research Board national conference

Eight Southern University students participated in the 2017 Annual Transportation Research Board Conference in Washington, DC. The International conference was held in January at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and attracted more than 12,000 participants from throughout the world.
