Dr. Puckett has a M. S. Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Doctor of Rehabilitation. He hold credentials as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Assistive Technology Professional. Dr. Puckett has over 30 years experience in work with persons with disabilities, as a rehabilitation counselor, vocational evaluator, program administrator and rehabilitation educator. His career in rehabilitation includes the following: Supervising Counselor for students with hearing impairments at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, Virginia, Vocational Evaluator for the
Virginia Department of Rehabilitation Services, Coordinator of adaptive equipment  services at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Department of Pediatrics, Coordinator of clinical services, Center for Rehabilitation Science and Biomedical Engineering, Louisiana Tech University, and Associate Professor and Coordinator for distance education, Department of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies, Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA.
