Pre-Award Forms
Internal Forms
- Pre-Award Checklist - Points to consider during the proposal preparation process.
- Notice of Intent (NOI) - A NOI is the official notification to the OSP that a Principal Investigator/Project Director is planning to submit a proposal or a sub-award to an external agency. A NOI is due to OSP no later than 15 business days before the sponsoring agency's deadline. If the agency has a required Notice of Intent form, the PI/PD is required to submit the agency's form as well. The OSP Pre-Award Specialist will contact the PI/PD within two business days of receiving the notification.
- Proposal Routing Form - The routing form ensures that all proposals for external funding have been reviewed and approved for institutional and sponsor compliance before submission. The PI/PD, Co-PI(s), Dean, and Chair must sign the form. A routing form is required for all proposals (solicited and unsolicited) that are submitted to the Office of Sponsored Programs.
- Priority Order Test (POT) - The POT Form is used to request additional/extra compensation. Extra compensation is the salary paid over an employee's base salary for the effort that is performed in addition to or outside of normal job duties.
