The goal of the SU Speech and Hearing Clinic is to provide effective community services that improve the?communication abilities of diverse clients and to provide a teaching and clinical research laboratory that seeks to develop exemplary assessment and treatment procedures for use by our students and professionals in speech-language pathology and audiology.
Speech-language pathology has consistently been ranked highly in the best 100 jobs in the US! The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that 28,900 new jobs will become available in speech-language pathology before 2024. Read more at U.S. News.com
Trena Robertson, M.Ed, CCC-SLP, is the Clinical Coordinator. She directs the clinic and oversees treatment of clients and clinical education of the students who gain hands-on experience on and off campus.
