Minor in Dance

The student must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours.

The minor in dance is designed to provide a broad overview of dance as an art form. Required courses introduce students to basic elements of dance while the remaining plan is created by each student according to their interests. Some dance styles students can study include ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip-hop, African dance and performance improvisation.
