Outreach Visit to CTEC – April 1, 2026

On April 1, 2026, the Computer Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) team conducted its second outreach visit to the Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This visit was part of CERL's ongoing mission to inspire future engineers by providing students with engaging, hands-on experiences that showcase the exciting opportunities available in engineering and technology.

Through interactive demonstrations and project presentations, students were introduced to various engineering disciplines and gained firsthand exposure to the innovative work being conducted within the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department at Southern University. The visit served as an opportunity to spark curiosity, encourage STEM exploration, and help students envision future educational and career pathways in engineering.
