Dr. Lacy's research interests are in the areas of electronics and biosensors and the development of such devices for various applications (such as bacteria detection and oxygen free radical measurements). He develops these electronic sensors using IC (integrated circuit) technology and MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) processing. Dr. Lacy's teaching interests are in the areas of electronics, biosensors, solid state physics, electromagnetic field theory, and AC/DC circuits.
