Policy Planning Committee

Committee Members' Role and Responsibilities

As a member of the SUBR Policy & Planning Committee, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Policy Review and Development: Evaluate existing policies and propose new policies that promote the university’s strategic objectives.

  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with your respective department or area to gather input and ensure policies reflect the diverse perspectives and needs of the campus community.

  3. Collaboration: Work closely with other committee members from across various sectors, including Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, IT, Research, and Finance, to ensure policies are comprehensive and well-integrated.

  4. Regular Meetings: Attend and participate in committee meetings, which will be scheduled regularly to review policy drafts, discuss revisions, and ensure timely approval processes.

  5. Reporting: Keep stakeholders in your area informed of policy developments and provide feedback to the committee based on discussions and concerns raised.
