Responsibilities of Mentors & Mentees

The mentor/mentee relationship is extremely valuable to success of burgeoning professionals in the College of Business. Below are a few tips for a successful mentor/mentee relationship.

Responsibilities of the Mentee:

  1. Being a mentee requires active participation. Therefore, you need to do the following:
    1. Define your goals and share them with your
    2. Cultivate a relationship with your
    3. Seek advice from your mentor when challenging situations
    4. Share how you handled challenging situations with your
    5. Attend meetings scheduled by you or your
  2. Seek a mentor that can fill the gaps in your current skillset. In other words, don’t seek a mentor that is exactly like
