The English Club
WHO WE ARE
THE ENGLISH CLUB is a student-run and faculty-advised organization that is open to all Southern University students who have an interest in English. Located in Harris Hall, room 2024, the club's meetings feature social and educational events, including the following:
- Guest speakers
- Book discussions
- Poetry recitations
- Film screenings and discussions
- Other conversation topics of interest, such as graduate school, creative writing, and publishing
Meetings are open to all, so feel free to attend, even if you're not an English major. If you'd like more information about the club, please feel free to contact either of the current faculty advisors:
