Financial Assistance

Departmental Graduate Assistantship

The five ways to receive financial assistance for Graduate Studies in the Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology are listed below. All awards are dependent on the availability of awards and the availability of funds at the time of application. All assistantship applications should reach the Graduate School no later than June 15th.

 

  • Regular Research Graduate Assistantship: - $19,500/year

Requirements:

-must receive regular admission
-must present a GPA of at least 3.0 on the 4.0 scale
-must present a GRE score of 1000 or higher (verbal + quantitative)
-must show evidence of an active research history

 

  • Regular Teaching Assistantship: - $16,500/year

Requirements:

-must receive regular admission status
-must present a GPA of 3.4 in one of the following disciplines: Chemistry or Biology
(laboratory and/or lecture). 
-must present a valid GRE score
-must present a transcript indicative of teaching ability

 

  • ACE Implementation Research Stipend - $25,000/year

Requirements: 

-Open only to junior or senior Doctoral Students
-must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States of America
-must present a GPA of 3.0 on the 4.0 scale
-must present a GRE score of 1000
