Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management

The College of Business offers a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management (GCSCM) that provides students with the core knowledge required for national certification examinations, as well as leadership, and work in the supply chain industry.  It provides high quality, unique, and specialized learning opportunities to a diverse student population and attracts students and professionals to a growing field that is an integral part of Louisiana’s economic growth.  The program is designed for individuals who have earned baccalaureate degrees in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering. The GCSCM program is also suitable for professionals working in the supply chain industry, regardless of the undergraduate degree area.  Students currently pursuing masters or doctoral degrees in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering should consider applying.

100% Online Certificate Program

Every course in the program is delivered fully online via Moodle. You may choose the accelerated program or a non-accelerated program. Depending on the Option you select,  you can complete the program in as few as 24 weeks.  An academic advisor will assist you with course selection using the Supply Chain Management-Non Accelerated Plan of Study or the Supply Chain Management Plan of Study-Accelerated.

Certificate Requirements

The certificate will be awarded to students who successfully complete each of the 5 courses below with a grade of "B" or better. 

Tuition and Program Costs

The cost for this program is $5,775 plus books, supplies, and graduation fee. The breakdown of charges is below. Students enrolled in this certificate program only are ineligible for traditional financial aid because this is a non-degree seeking program.  The program may qualify for employer's tuition assistance or tuition reimbursemet programs. Payment plans are also available.

Applying to the Program

Applications to the online graduate programs are processed by the Department and the Graduate School. To apply, complete the steps below:

1. Submit the  online application.
2. Pay the $25 application fee.
3. Submit an official transcript showing earned baccalaureate degree.
4. Submit one professional reference.
5. Submit a one page personal statement with career objective.

Admission Requirements

In addition to completing the steps to apply for graduate admission, applicants must meet the following additional criteria:

1. Minimum cummulative undergraduate GPA of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale
   
2. Earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution or foreign equivalent.
3. One professional letter of recommendation
4. One-page Statement of Purpose with career objective.
5. Current resume or C.V.
